Lirra Skirra (Chrystine Rayburn and Patrick Glennon) is a music project based in Richmond, VA and Chicago, IL. Their approach to composition weaves guitar, clarinet, and synthesizer with tape loops and field recordings. Their recent work includes an residency at Taleamor Park in Indiana, a performance in the Ruido Vírico sound art festival run by the label Audiotalaia, an installation entitled “d(a(y))” that debuted in January 2020, and an album called “You Mean Except Almost Always” released in November 2019.
